Gunberly LLC ("we," "our," or "us") builds SignBridge AI, an AI platform that translates spoken conversation into sign language through a 3D AI avatar. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect while you join our waitlist, take part in private beta, or otherwise interact with SignBridge AI, and how we use and protect it.
SignBridge AI is currently in private beta. This policy will be expanded as the product moves toward general availability, and we'll notify beta participants of any material changes.
1. Information We Collect
Waitlist & Account Information
- Email address submitted through the waitlist or early-access forms
- Organization name and role, if shared with us for enterprise interest
- Any messages you send us directly, for example by email
Product & Conversation Data (Beta)
- Audio captured during a translation session, processed to generate text and sign-language output
- Sign-language avatar rendering data generated from that text
- Session metadata such as timestamps, device type, and approximate translation latency
Technical Information
- Browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
- Usage patterns and feature interactions, used to improve reliability
- IP address and approximate location, used for security and service availability
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate SignBridge AI: converting speech to text, mapping it to sign-language structure, and rendering the 3D avatar in real time
- To manage the waitlist and beta program: contacting you about access, onboarding, and updates
- To improve the product: evaluating translation accuracy, avatar clarity, and system latency
- To keep the service secure: detecting abuse, fraud, and technical issues
- To meet legal obligations where applicable
We do not use your conversation data to build a profile of you for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
3. Data Processing & Storage
We aim to process conversation audio transiently wherever the underlying AI models allow it, retaining it only as long as needed to produce a translation and, if you've opted in, to improve model quality. Where cloud processing is required for speech recognition, language mapping, or avatar rendering, data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: infrastructure, hosting, and AI model providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with continued privacy protection
- With your consent: for any other purpose you explicitly approve, such as a public case study
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal data, including waitlist information
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities
- Port your data to another service in a usable format

6. Security
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Access controls limiting who at Gunberly LLC can view personal or conversation data
- Ongoing review of our infrastructure as the beta program scales
No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to apply industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a beta-stage product.
7. International Data Transfers
Gunberly LLC is a U.S.-based company. If you use SignBridge AI from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are applied to these transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
SignBridge AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
As SignBridge AI moves from private beta toward general availability, this Privacy Policy will evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify active beta users directly.
